There are four sections to Citizen UK! Each includes tasks for you to complete, skills for you to develop and games for you to take time out. In the ‘Get Stuck In' section, for instance, you might practice the reading, listening and number skills, that you may need if you want to interact more efficiently with your community. In ‘Doing Your Bit' you'll learn how to read pie charts to see where your money goes in Council Tax. You could choose the ‘Power to the People' section and see how to apply for a passport or read about how the Government works. There are plenty of options, including the computer game in the ‘Getting Help' section, to help you on your way. By the end of the course you will not only have improved your skills with communication and numbers - you will also know a lot more about citizenship.
