C++, a computer language derived from C, efficiently supports object-oriented programming, resulting in more reliable and easily maintained systems than the older technologies. This C++ Foundation course gives you a solid grounding in C++ programming, ideal if you are not familiar with the C language. The course is based on ANSI C++ and is not environment- or vendor-specific, so is universally accessible. As you learn you'll develop the basic skills and knowledge you need to be able to write, compile and run basic C++ applications so that by the time you've worked right through the course you'll be able to implement these skills effectively in the workplace.
